Dr Oluwatayo is a Consultant Psychiatrist at OxfordHealth NHS Trust and a former Medical Director of Lakeside Hospital, Wyboston, Bedfordshire UK. Prior to this post, he worked as a Consultant in various roles both in the NHS and private sector in the UK. He was previously a Welcome Research fellow and a lecturer at the University of Manchester, UK

Dr Oluwatayo is an award-winning graduate of the University of Ibadan Medical School and a former WHO scholar. He started his training at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Yaba before proceeding to the UK. He was appointed as a Mental Health Advisor to the Lagos State Ministry of Health between August 2011 and Dec 2014.

He is a mental health advocate, and an author and has several scientific publications.
